Getting started

Who is Santé Labs for?

Adults 25+ who want a comprehensive view of their biology once a year, plus targeted check-ins when something specific comes up (hair loss, fatigue, training adaptation, fertility planning). We don't treat acute problems — we measure the system.

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No. You book the panel directly. A Santé doctor reviews every result and — on flagship panels — will call you back to walk through it.

How do I choose between Complete, Balance and Longevity?

The Panel Integral 360° — Longevity is our flagship: close to 90 biomarkers (88 run in-house) from a single blood draw, read against the optimal range rather than just "normal". For a specific concern, our specialized panels — hormones, cardiometabolic, energy, skin, sleep and more — focus on the markers that matter. See /panels for the full list.

Can I add a specialized panel to a flagship?

Yes. At checkout you'll see the option to add a specialized panel (hair, sports, skin, STDs, etc.) to any flagship. The combined result arrives in one report.

Is Santé Labs open already?

Our flagship laboratory opens in Barcelona in 2026. A subset of panels is already bookable through Santé Clinics — we'll flag which when you go to book.

Preparation

Do I need to fast?

Most panels require 8–12 hours of fasting (water is fine). Your booking confirmation always lists the exact requirements for what you've selected.

Should I pause supplements or medication?

Biotin can skew thyroid and hormone immunoassays — pause 48 h before the draw. Don't pause prescribed medication without talking to your doctor; just let us know what you're on so we interpret around it.

What about alcohol or exercise the day before?

Avoid both for 24 hours before — alcohol raises GGT, exercise raises CK and LDH. We want your baseline, not a post-workout snapshot.

How should women time female hormones?

We schedule female hormone panels between day 2 and day 5 of your cycle — we'll ask at booking and offer the right window. Perimenopause and postmenopause follow different timing.

Results

When do I get my results?

Hematology: same day. Full biochemistry + hormones: 24 hours. Specialized tests (breath, PCR, heavy metals): 48–72 hours. Every result is validated by our team of laboratory experts and reviewed by a Santé doctor before it reaches you. Reports are delivered via our app and emailed as a PDF.

What does the report look like?

Plain-language summary first, then every biomarker grouped by area with your value, your reference range, and a short interpretation. Anything out of range is flagged and explained.

Does a doctor call me?

Yes on flagship panels (15–45 min depending on the flagship). On specialized panels a doctor reviews and flags anything critical; you can book a consultation separately if you want a walkthrough.

What if a marker is out of range?

Our doctor contextualizes it (benign vs. worth investigating), recommends next steps — diet, training, re-test, referral — and, when relevant, offers a Santé Clinics appointment.

Can I share my report with my GP?

Yes — the PDF is formatted for medical use, with units, reference ranges and methodology. You can also export the raw data from the app.

Privacy & data

Where is my data stored?

On EU servers, encrypted at rest and in transit, managed by Santé. We are GDPR-compliant. Your health data is never sold, shared with advertisers or used to train third-party models.

Who sees my results?

You, our team of laboratory experts who validate your result, the Santé doctor who reviews it, and — for the AI-assisted interpretation layer — our own software running on our own infrastructure. No third-party interpretation service.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Under GDPR you can request deletion at any time via contact@santeclinics.com and we'll remove all identifiable records within 30 days, except anonymized aggregates kept for quality control.

Is my DNA / genetic data stored?

Phase 2 genetic panels are opt-in. The sample is processed, the report delivered, and the raw sequence is then destroyed unless you explicitly consent to indefinite storage for future re-analysis.

Billing

How do I pay?

Full payment at booking. No subscription. All prices final: draw, processing, report and the included doctor call are bundled.

Do you accept health insurance?

Santé Labs operates as a private diagnostic service. We can issue a detailed invoice for reimbursement with your insurer, but we don't bill insurers directly.

Do I need to pay again for the 6/12-month retest?

Flagship panels include reminders but the retest is a separate panel booking. We usually apply a loyalty discount for existing patients.

Can my company buy Santé Labs panels for employees?

Yes. Corporate-wellness packages are available — contact@santeclinics.com with headcount and target panel.

Phase 2 · Coming 2026

When do Phase 2 panels launch?

SIBO, food intolerances, full urinary microbiology, genetics and heavy metals launch when our BRE, URI/MIC, PCR and ICP-MS analyzers are installed — scheduled for 2026.

How do I get notified?

Every Phase 2 panel detail page has a 'Join the waiting list' button that emails you when the panel goes live at launch pricing.

Will the waiting list get better pricing?

Yes. Everyone on the waitlist for a given Phase 2 panel gets a 15% early-access discount on their first booking.
